Amundi appoints Richard Deutsch as Head of Credit Research, Fixed Income

Amundi announces the appointment of Richard Deutsch as Head of Credit Research, Fixed income. Richard will be based in London
Richard Deutsch joins Amundi from HSBC Global Asset Management where he was Global Head of Credit Research (2010 – 2018). He was responsible for the creation and ongoing evolution of the firm’s credit research policy and analytical methodology, global sector research groups and supervised the development of the intranet platform for the communication of credit research recommendations. Prior to HSBC Richard ran credit research and the credit trading desk analytical units at BNP Paribas CIB in London (1999-2008). He had previously been European Head of the High Yield and Investment Grade Fixed income Research at Merrill Lynch (1994-1999).
Richard began his career at Bank of America in 1989 as a leveraged loan credit officer.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vassar College and a M.A. from Princeton University.
